When some people think about inflatable pools, they may be reminded of those old style kiddie pools. You know the ones, they are short, small, and were made from some kind of cheap plastic materials. They would usually start leaking immediately, and even if they had some kind of multiple chamber system, at least one chamber would get a hole in it right away. You often had to worry about where you were going to set it up, and sometimes, even just plain old grass would put a hole in one or more of the chambers. By the end of the summer, it was of no use anymore, and be thrown away. Parents would vow never to own one again, but as the next summer came around, gave in to their kids demands and purchase another.
Not anymore. Now inflatable pools are much better than those old kiddie pools! If you want a less expensive, portable alternative to either an above ground pool, or digging out a big hole in your backyard and putting in an in ground pool, an inflatable is the way to go. Sure you can still buy a kids pool, but if you really want a great way to spend the summer months splashing and playing in the water, there are many different styles of pools that the whole family can enjoy.
For example, there is the 15'x3' Float to Fill Ring Pool Set. This inflatable pool is a whopping 15' in diameter, comes with a pump, filter, and even a ladder to make entry a breeze. Not only that, it also comes with a large mat, which you lay down on a flat surface first, to prevent any rips or tears to your pool. You simply lay out the mat, position the pool, inflate the ring, and start filling! It even comes with a pool cover, so no debris get in when not in use, and comes with a few beach type play balls to enjoy. If you think this pool is expensive, think again because you get all of this for $349.99, but you can get it on sale for just around $280.
Another really good example of an inflatable pool is the Ellipse Frame Pool Set, which is a whopping 12'x20'x48", and will hold upwards of 4300 gallons of water. This monster comes with a 1500 gallon per hour filter pump, ground cloth, pool cover, a ladder and even a maintenance kit, plus a manual foot pump to make inflation easy. It also includes a surface skimmer, water volley ball set, and a plug for easy draining, plus much more. You can get this model #57981 retail for just under $800. But it can be found on sale for one hundred dollars less.
If you are interested in either of these inflatable pool products, or even the newer styles of kid's pools, you should start online. While there is probably a decent selection at one of your local mass marketing outlets, in order to get the best variety of pools and accessories, there are many different websites, and many even offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount. Be sure you check and compare prices over many different sites, in order to get the most for your money.
