When Should You Build Your Pool?

Most people think of building a pool in the spring so that they will be able to enjoy it by the beginning of the summer. The trouble with this is that spring is the rainy season for many areas. This makes the ground wet and excavation difficult. Soggy dirt will have a tendency to collapse into the hole you're trying to dig. Soft ground also can be rough on heavy equipment.

It's best to think ahead and consider having your pool built before winter.

Aside from the ground conditions, there's another reason to build your
swimming pool in the later summer or early fall:

Prices!

Contractors, especially swimming pool installers, are typically short
of work this time of year, so you can negotiate for better prices.
You'll also be able to get the work done more quickly, because there won't
be a waiting list.
